Incredibly close, yet painfully far
No remedy to this throbbing heart

To bear my soul and risk it all
Fall in love, or cause downfall

If only I could tell you how
My heart stops when I see you now

I would gladly spend eternity
Proving nobody would be better than me

Stranded in this frigid cove
Of bitter unrequited love
